This tour takes in a visit to the Queen's Palace at Ambohimanga, which is situated near Antananarivo. There are a number of possible stops on the way to the Palace. The first stop visits Dera's studio: the production of pottery, art batik and sisal crafts is visible there. The second stop is at the Studio of Ironwork Art, where you will see the craftsmen working the assembled fine stone copper. The third possible stop, the museum of ethnology of Ilafy, was the stronghold of King Radama II. Finally we visit the Palace, the cradle of the history of the Merina royalty, and classified a world historical inheritance by UNESCO.

The Palace is located 18 kilometres from Antananarivo. Possible stops along the way include:

After making the desired stops, we break for an included lunch. The tour then continues on towards the Palace. Afterwards there is a return transfer to either your hotel or the airport.
